Florence art and history tours
We bring the Renaissance's birthplace to life recounting not simply history but tradition, folklore and curiosities. Your experience of Florence's best-known and less known sights will be a fun learning experience. All of our guides have passed a rigorous Italian Government exam of their knowledge of history, art-history and language. They hold an official Tour Guide License which is required by law in Italy and assures the quality of our services.

Florence For Beginers
The Accademia museum, which houses The David. The Cathedral and Baptistry squares, with Giotto's bell-tower, Ghiberti's gates, and Brunelleschi's dome. Medieval Florence between the Cathedral and Piazza della Signoria. Piazza della Signoria with its statues, Palazzo Vecchio and The Loggia dei Lanzi. The courtyard of the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio Florence's gold market bridge.

Uffizi and Accademia highlights
Highlights of the two most famous of Florence's museums:Michelangelo's David and Prisoners, Giotto, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, titian and Caravaggio.

Medici Highlights
The story of the most important family in Florence during the Renaissance and Baroque periods through their magnificent palaces: Palazzo Medici-Ricardi, Palazzo Vecchio, Pitti Palace.

Michelangelo Tour
The Accademia with the David and the Prisoners, the Medici funeral chapels with architecture by Michelangelo in addition to his Night and Day, The Bargello with the Bacchus and the Tondo Pitti.

Pitti Palace tour
A Royal Palace which hosted three dynasties. Vases, jewels, ambers, ivories collected in the summer apartments, and the greater part of Florence's Rafaels and Titians in the Winter apartments.

Oltrarno tour
Pitti Palace, Brancacci chapel with frescoes by Massacio the father of Renaissance painting, Brunelleschi's church of Santo Spirito
